This collection is about capturing speed in the only moment it exists, and that moment cannot be replicated. Anyone can buy a print, but these? These are the ultimate limited editions. Each one is a singular artifact, grabbed from the blur of Speed Week, and consecrated by the Church of Speed.

I stopped overthinking and started looking at what was available off the shelf. There are plenty of cameras and adapters out there, but NONS has an adapter system for what I want to attempt.
I asked nicely, and the team at NONS was down to send me a camera to help me test my theories. I’m fully aware that I’m an idiot for wanting to jam a 600mm lens on this thing and drag it out to the salt. I mean, while the physical film is quite large (86mm x 72mm total, with a 62mm x 62mm image area), the camera’s internal optics—specifically its focal-reducing mirrors—are designed to make standard full-fra…
Yeah, so anyways, shooting with the 600mm won’t really work, but I’m going to have a lot of fun pushing my luck with this camera, shooting tech, in the pits, staging and tons of candids with the rest of my lens collection.

Based in Ohio, Cornfield Customs specializes in high-end metal shaping, custom fabrication, and one-off race cars. They also campaign multiple land speed cars at Bonneville and El Mirage.
Geoff Stilwell

Owned and driven by British land speed racer Geoff Stilwell, 7707 is a purpose-built, highly modified roadster that is a fixture on the dry lakebeds of El Mirage and Bonneville. As the current class record holder at 289.239 mph, the team is fundamentally British, with an operation built around a shared commitment to pushing for 300 mph+ records on the salt. The motor is overseen by Nick Davies and Rob Loaring of I.C.E. Automotive in the U.K., while the chassis, originally built by Mick’s Paint in Pomona, is maintained by a crew that includes Scott Barnes, Scott Campbell, and Pauly Rivera. The team is supported by Red Line Synthetic Oil, CP Carrillo / Arias Pistons, Simpson Safety, Maxwell Industries, and Taylor Motorsports.
